To see if the Town will vote to accept the Town <br />Officers' Reports or take any other action thereon. <br />Action: Accepted as read unanimously. <br />Article 3. To see if the Town will hear and act upon the <br />reports of any committees hereto chosen, or appoint commit- <br />tees for any purpose the Town may deem advisable, or take <br />any other action thereon. <br />Action: The Police Committee's Report was given by <br />Mr. John A. Peters. Motion was made and seconded to accept <br />the report and to retain the same committee for further <br />study. Voted unanimously.. <br />Chairman, Mr. Albert Whitmore, Jr. gave the School <br />Building Needs Committee report. Motion was made and sec- <br />onded that the Town will accept the report of the School <br />Building Needs Committee. Voted unanimously. <br />Motion was made and seconded to dismiss the School <br />Building Needs Committee with thanks. Voted unanimously. <br />Motion was made and seconded to retain the same mem- <br />bers as a School Building Committee with full authority to <br />enter into all contracts and agreements necessary to alter, <br />renovate, or make additions to the Samuel G. Davis School <br />and to construct, equip, and furnish an addition thereto. <br />Voted unanimously. <br />Motion was made and seconded to raise and appropri- <br />ate the sum of $9,500.00 to be expended by the School Build- <br />ing Committee for the preparation of Architectural plans <br />and specifications for the proposed alterations, renovations, <br />and .additions to the Samuel G. Davis School. Voted 61 for, <br />0 opposed. <br />Mr. Carl Avant gave a report on the Town Landing Com- <br />mittee. Motion was made and seconded to accept the report. <br />Voted unanimously. <br />
