To see if the Town will vote the sum of $300.00 from available funds of the landing committee account to purchase lot 48 as shown on plan of Waquoit Park, dated April 1913, or take any other action thereon. Action: Article accepted as read. Voted unanimously. Article 3. To see if the Town will vote the sum of $500.00 from available funds for snow and ice removal or take any other action thereon. Action: Voted to be accepted as read, voted 38 for, 3 against. Article 4. To see if the Town will vote to transfer $500.00 from Road Machinery Fund to Road Machinery Account or take any other action thereon. Action: Article accepted as read, voted 41 for, 0 opposed. Article 5. To see if the Town will vote to transfer $2,350.00 from Road Machinery funds to purchase (3) three snow plows or take any other action thereon. Action: Article accepted as read, voted 38 for, 0 opposed. Article 6. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Selectmen to sell or dispose of one 1927 Maxim fire truck to the highest bidder or take any other action thereon. Action: Article accepted as read. Voted unanimously. Article 7. To see if the Town will assume liability in the manner provided by Section 29 of Chapter 91 of the Gen- eral Laws, as amended by Chapters 516 and 524, acts of 1950, for all damages that may be incurred by work to be per- formed by the Department of Public Works of Massachusetts for the improvement, development, maintenance and pro- tection of tidal and non -tidal rivers and streams, harbors, tidewaters, foreshores and shores along a public beach out- side of Boston Harbor, including the Merrimack and Connec- ticut Rivers, in accordance with Section 11 of Chapter 91 or the General Laws, and authorize the Selectmen to execute and deliver a bond of indemnity therefor to the Common- wealth.
