83 <br />Special Town Meeting Warrant <br />July 21, 1960 <br />BARNSTABLE, SS: To the constable of the Town of Mash - <br />pee, GREETING: <br />In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you <br />are hereby directed to notify and summons the inhabitants <br />of the Town of Mashpee who are qualified to vote in the <br />elections, to meet at the Town Hall on Thursday, the twenty- <br />first day of July next at seven o'clock P.M. for the following <br />purposes: To act on the articles containing in the following <br />warrant. <br />Moderator, Mr. William R. Yundt presided at the meeting. <br />The meeting was opened at 8:00 P.M. with a prayer by <br />'Mr. Leo Houston. <br />Tellers were Miss Eleanor Peters and Mrs. Adeline Hicks. <br />The tellers polled the house and there were twenty-six (26) <br />registered voters. <br />Article 1. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from <br />available funds in the treasury, the sum of $2,000• to the Re- <br />lief Police Compensation account or take any other action <br />thereon. <br />Action: A motion made and seconded that the article be <br />accepted as read. Voted 17 for, 7 opposed. <br />Article 2. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from <br />available funds in the treasury, the sum of $250..00 to the <br />Police Equipment and Maintenance account or take any <br />other action thereon. <br />Action: A motion made and seconded that the. article be <br />accepted as read. Voted 26 for, none opposed. <br />
