91 <br />Special Town Meeting Warrant <br />August 8, 1961 <br />BARNSTABLE, SS: To the Constable of the Town of Mash - <br />pee, GREETING: <br />In the name of the. Commonwealth of Massachusetts you <br />are directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town <br />of Mashpee qualified to vote in elections and Town affairs, to <br />meet at the Town Hall, Mashpee, on Tuesday, the eighth day <br />of August, 1961, at 7:00 P.M., then and there to act on the <br />following articles: <br />The meeting opened at 7:45 P.M. Tuesday, August 8, 1961, <br />by William R. Yundt, Moderator. <br />The tellers were Mrs. Adeline Hicks and Miss Eleanor <br />Peters. The tellers polled the house. There were 83 registered <br />voters present. <br />Mr. Leo Houston offered a prayer. <br />Article 1. To see if the Town will vote to accept the <br />layout of Old Brickyard Road, so-called, for a Town way and <br />will authorize and instruct the Selectmen to take by pur- <br />chase or eminent domain in behalf of said layout for this <br />Purpose and will raise and appropriate the sum of $1.00 for <br />land damages or take any other action thereon. <br />Action: Article accepted as read. Voted unanimously. <br />Article 2: To see if the Town will vote to amend the <br />By -Laws, Chapter II, Article XII by adding the following: <br />Section 8. Attaquin Park Beach is restricted to residents and <br />guests of the Town, under regulations to be adopted by the <br />Selectmen, or to take any other action thereon. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded to postpone article <br />until next annual Town Meeting. <br />
