61 <br />of the Old Indian Church service road that leads to Route 28, <br />or take any other action thereon. <br />Action: Article voted unanimously to be accepted as <br />read. <br />Article 18. To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br />appropriate the sum of $150.00 for the purpose of restoring <br />and maintaining the famous and historical Town Pump lo- <br />cated at the intersection of Great Neck and Red Brook Roads, <br />in South Mashpee. The above sum of money to be spent under <br />the direction of the Park Commission who will obtain and <br />erect a suitable wooden sign which will point -out the histori- <br />cal facts and warn against destruction, or take any other <br />action thereon. <br />Action: Article voted unanimously to be accepted as <br />read. <br />Article 19. To see if the Town will vote to accept the <br />provisions of General Laws Chapter 40, Section 8C, and all <br />amendments thereof, relative to the establishment of a Con- <br />servation Commission, and raise and appropriate the sum of <br />$100.00 (one hundred) for the establishment and expenses <br />of such Conservation Commission as provided in General Laws <br />Chapter 40, Section 5, Clause 5I, or take any other action <br />thereon. <br />Action: Article voted unanimously to be accepted as <br />read. <br />Article 20. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the <br />Selectmen to establish a Town Forest, or take any other <br />action thereon. <br />Action: Article voted unanimously to be accepted as <br />read. <br />Article 21. To see if the Town will vote to give the <br />Selectmen full power and authority to regulate and restrict <br />the dredging or filling of waterways and marshlands in the <br />Town, and to permit the licensing of such use or uses only <br />after a public hearing, or take any other action thereon. <br />Action: Article voted unanimously to be accepted as <br />read. Voted 67 for, 4 opposed. <br />
