65 <br />Article 35. To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br />appropriate the sum of $100.00 for the Appeals Board expense <br />account, or take any other action thereon. <br />Action: Article voted unanimously to be accepted as <br />read. <br />Article 36. To see if the Town will vote to instruct the <br />Selectmen to appoint a Committee of three (3) to study and <br />make plans for the Town's Centennial celebration, under <br />Chapter 40, Section 5, Paragraph 27, in 1970 and to raise and <br />appropriate from available funds in the treasury the sum of <br />$100.00 or take any other action thereon. <br />Action: Article voted unanimously to be accepted as <br />amended, as follows: To see if the Town will vote to instruct <br />the Selectmen to appoint a Committee of three (3) to study <br />and make plans for the Town's Centennial Celebration in 1970; <br />under Chapter 40, Section 5, Paragraph 27, and to raise and <br />appropriate from available funds in the treasury the sum of <br />$100.00 for Committee expenses. <br />Article 37. To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br />appropriate the sum of $100.00 and to authorize the Selectmen <br />to have constructed in the Town Hall foyer, a display case or <br />cases to hold items of a historical nature, that might be <br />solicited or donated to the Town for posterity or take any <br />other action thereon. <br />Action: Article voted unanimously to be accepted as <br />read. <br />Article 38. To see if the the Town will vote to amend <br />Article ten (10) Section 1, of the Mashpee By-laws to read: <br />as follows: "No elected officer of the Town of Mashpee, except <br />a member of the Board of Assessors and a member of the <br />Board of Health shall receive any compensation for trans- <br />portation within the limits of the Town", or take any other <br />action thereon. <br />Action: Article voted unanimously to be accepted as <br />amended, as follows: To see if the Town will vote to amend <br />Chapter I, Article X, Section 1, of the Mashpee By -Laws to <br />read as follows: No elected officer of the Town of Mashpee, <br />except a member of the Board of Assessors and Agents of <br />
