65 Article 35. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $100.00 for the Appeals Board expense account, or take any other action thereon. Action: Article voted unanimously to be accepted as read. Article 36. To see if the Town will vote to instruct the Selectmen to appoint a Committee of three (3) to study and make plans for the Town's Centennial celebration, under Chapter 40, Section 5, Paragraph 27, in 1970 and to raise and appropriate from available funds in the treasury the sum of $100.00 or take any other action thereon. Action: Article voted unanimously to be accepted as amended, as follows: To see if the Town will vote to instruct the Selectmen to appoint a Committee of three (3) to study and make plans for the Town's Centennial Celebration in 1970; under Chapter 40, Section 5, Paragraph 27, and to raise and appropriate from available funds in the treasury the sum of $100.00 for Committee expenses. Article 37. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $100.00 and to authorize the Selectmen to have constructed in the Town Hall foyer, a display case or cases to hold items of a historical nature, that might be solicited or donated to the Town for posterity or take any other action thereon. Action: Article voted unanimously to be accepted as read. Article 38. To see if the the Town will vote to amend Article ten (10) Section 1, of the Mashpee By-laws to read: as follows: "No elected officer of the Town of Mashpee, except a member of the Board of Assessors and a member of the Board of Health shall receive any compensation for trans- portation within the limits of the Town", or take any other action thereon. Action: Article voted unanimously to be accepted as amended, as follows: To see if the Town will vote to amend Chapter I, Article X, Section 1, of the Mashpee By -Laws to read as follows: No elected officer of the Town of Mashpee, except a member of the Board of Assessors and Agents of
