86 <br />The following items were reduced: <br />Workmen's Compensation Insur- <br />ance from $2,673.40 to $860.69 <br />School—General from <br />$71,688.00 to $69,688.00 <br />It appears that there was failure to appropriate properly <br />for accident insurance under the item "Police for insurance <br />in the amount of $452.98 and it is suggested and recom- <br />mended that a transfer in that amount be made from the <br />Reserve Fund under the control of the Finance Committee. <br />j The Commission does not approve the appropriation of <br />$100.00 as voted under Article 36, for the Centennial Celebra- <br />tion as this is contrary to the provisions of General Laws. <br />The appropriation voted under Article 39 "Health— <br />Salaries" in the amount of $600.00 is not approved. <br />The Commission approves the appropriation of $2,500.00 <br />voted under Article 41 for the construction of a bathhouse at <br />Attaquin Park Beach, but withholds approval of expendi- <br />tures therefrom until there is made available to the Commis- <br />sion plans and specifications for construction as contem- <br />plated under this Article which will satisfy the requirements <br />of the proposed bathhouse construction. In other words, the <br />Commission approves the inclusion of this item in the 1962 <br />budget, but wishes to be satisfied as to the nature of the <br />building which will be constructed and will not approve ex- <br />penditures under this item until complete plans are avail- <br />able. <br />The Commission approves the appropriation for the pur- <br />chase of land under Article 25, but withholds approval of <br />expenditures under this item until there is filed in writing <br />with the Commission an opinion of the Town Counsel as to <br />the adequacy of the title now vesting in the vendor of the <br />property. <br />The Commission further approves the vote of the Town <br />meeting in establishing under Article 15 the compensation <br />rate of $1.50 per hour for town labor. <br />MiL <br />
