REPORT OF THE FINANCE COMMITTEE <br />ON THE <br />ANNUAL TOWN MEETING WARRANT <br />MARCH 1, 1965 <br />BARNSTABLE, SS: To the Constable of the Town of <br />Mashpee GREETINGS; <br />In the name of the ,Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you <br />are hereby directed to notify and summons the inhabitants <br />of the Town of Mashpee, who are qualified to vote in the <br />elections, to meet at the Town Hall on Monday, the first day <br />of March 1965 at seven o'clock p. in. for the following purposes; <br />To act on the articles contained in the following warrant. <br />To meet at the Town Hall the following Wednesday, March <br />3, 1965 to bring in their votes for the election of officers as <br />adopted by the town. The polls will be open at twelve o'clock <br />noon and may be closed _at seven -thirty p.m. <br />Article 1. To choose all necessary town officials who <br />are not elected under the Australian Ballot System: <br />Sealer of Weights and Measures <br />Burial Agent <br />Herring Warden <br />Harbor Master <br />Finance Committee Members <br />Article 2. To see if the Town will vote to accept the <br />Town Officers' Reports or; take any other action thereon. <br />Article 3.::To.-. see- if the' Town will hear and act upon <br />the, reports of any Committees for any purpose the Town <br />may deem advisable. <br />Article -4 ' To see if the Town will vote to authorize the <br />Town Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to <br />borrow money from time to--time--in anticipation of revenue <br />of the financial year beginning on January 1, 1965 and to issue <br />a note or notes .thereforpayable in one.year and to renew such <br />notes that may be given ..for., the period of one year or less in <br />accordance with Section 17,` Chapter 44 of the General Laws. <br />Recommended as.read. <br />
