Lic. #J-767
Report of the Forest Warden
To the Honorable Board of Selectmen:
Mashpee, Massachusetts,
I hereby submit my report for the year ending December
31, 1964.
The past year being extremely dry was one of the most
dangerous years I have seen. The fire danger was higher
than usual from May to November. I wish to thank the resi-
dents for their cooperation during the year. It was only their
efforts that kept the number of fires down.
There. were (14) brush fires within the Town and all
except one were less than one-half acre in size; and one
three acre fire. The total of six acres was burnt during the
year.
Respectfully submitted,
ELLSWORTH PETERS
Forest Warden
