69 Article 12. To see if the Town will appropriate the sum of $3,968.46 that the Town has or will have under Chapter 822, Acts of 1963 for the purpose of laying a mix in place 3 inches thick, 22 feet wide, and 2,640 feet long on Orchard Road or take any other action thereon. Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as read. Voted 69 for, 1 opposed. Article 13. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $190.00 to install a new pump in the municipal garage or take any other action thereon. Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as read. Voted unanimously. Article 14. To see if the Town will vote to fix the High- way Surveyor's salary; and to raise and appropriate the sum of $5,800.00 for the salary or take any other action thereon. Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as read. Voted 51 for, 5 opposed. Article 15. To see if the Town will vote to employ one full time man on the Highway Department and fix his salary at $4,500.00 and raise and appropriate the sum of $4,500.00 or take any other action thereon. Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as read. Voted 26 for, 36 opposed. Motion lost. Article 16. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $2,700.00 to meet the Town's share of the cost of Chapter 81 Highway and in addition to transfer from unappropriated available funds in the Treasury the sum of $9,900.00 to meet the State's share of the cost of the work, this amount when reimbursed to be returned to sur- plus revenue or take other action thereon. Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as read. Voted unanimously. Article 17. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $5,500.00 to be expended in conjunc- tion with Highway construction under Chapter 90 represent-
