10.1
Although $8,243.78 was expended in 1965 for the compen-
sation of officers, only $7,000 was appropriated in the budget
therefor. Obviously, the difference was provided by a trans-
fer from the Reserve Fund. However, your letter of October
11 indicates that $1,800 was transferred from the Reserve
Fund during the current year.
The excess of the 1966 Reserve Fund transfer, plus the
appropriation provided under Article 30, gave your police
department almost $4,000 more for personal services than it
had in 1965.
It was deemed that no action by the Commission was
necessary on the votes adopted under Articles 4, 5, and 6.
ARTHUR H. MacKINNON, Chairman
DONALD T. WOOD
EDWARD T. SULLIVAN
Mashpee Advisory Commission
December 13, 1966 .
Board of Selectmen
Mashpee, Massachusetts
Gentlemen:
A meeting of the Mashpee Advisory Commission, as es-
tablished in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 223
of the Acts of 1932, as most recently amended by Chapter 303
of the Acts of 1966, was held on December 13, 1966.
In accordance with the provisions of Section 2 of said
Chapter 223, the Commission considered the appropriation
voted under Article 1 of the special town meeting held on
September 26, 1966 and approved the amount of $2,800, being
the amount recommended by the Finance Committee.
ARTHUR H.
