"of the Manual.• Town 1V�etmg <br />March 7, 1966 <br />THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS <br />BARNSTABLE, SS: To the Constable of the :Town of <br />Mashpee GREETINGS: <br />In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you <br />are hereby. directed to notify and summons the inhabitants <br />of the Town of Mashpee, who are qualified to vote in the <br />elections, to meet at the Town Hall on Monday; the seventh <br />day ,of. March 1966 at seven o'clock p.m. for the following <br />purposes <br />To act on the articles contained in the following war- <br />rant. To meet at the Town Hall the following Wednesday, <br />March 9, 1966 to bring in their votes for the election of of- <br />ficers as adopted by the town. The polls will be open at <br />twelve o'clock noon and may be closed at seven4hirty p.m. <br />The meeting Was opened at 7:15 p.m. March, 7, 1966 by <br />Moderator, William W. Mills. A quorum was present. The <br />121 voters observed a moment of silencefor two departed <br />former officers of the Town, Mr. Harrison R. Frye, Sr., Select- <br />man and Mr. George E. Avant, Herring Warden. <br />Martin Hendricks, a representative of the Boy Scouts <br />lead the citizens:in a salute to the flag. <br />Tellers were Mrs. Helen Edwards and Mrs. Mary Potter. <br />Article 1 To choose all necessary town officials who <br />are not elected under the Australian Ballot System: <br />Burial Agent <br />Herring Warden <br />Harbor Master <br />Finance Committee Members <br />Two for 3 years. <br />One for 1 year <br />
