101 <br /> Article 43. To see if the Town will vote to instruct the <br /> Board of Selectmen to appoint a Personnel Board consisting <br /> of (5) five registered voters, who are not employees of the <br /> Town or serving the Town regularly in any elective capacity, <br /> to conduct a study .and make recommendations for a Salary <br /> and Wage Administration Plan. The Personnel Board mem- <br /> bers shall be appointed to serve for one year and shall pre- <br /> pare a report to be submitted to the Town not later than <br /> the 1969 Town Meeting. <br /> Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as <br /> read. Voted unanimously. <br /> Article 44. To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br /> appropriate or to transfer from available funds in the Treas- <br /> ury, the sum of $500.00 for expenses of the Personnel Board. <br /> Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as <br /> read by having the Town to raise and appropriate the sum <br /> of $500.00. Voted unanimously. <br /> Article 45. To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br /> appropriate $1,500.00 for reseeding quahogs 'and oysters or <br /> take any other action thereon. <br /> Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as <br /> read. Voted unanimously. <br /> Article 46. To see if the Town will vote -to raise and <br /> appropriate or transfer from available funds in the Treasury <br /> the sum of $1,000.00 to purchase furniture and office equip- <br /> ment for the new second floor office 'space in the Town Hall, <br /> or take any other action thereon. <br /> Action: Motion made and seconded to raise and appro- <br /> priate the sum of $1,000.00. Voted unanimously. <br /> Article 47. To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br /> appropriate the sum of $800.00 to purchase furniture and <br /> office equipment for the Assessors Department or take any <br /> other action thereon. <br /> Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as <br /> read. Voted unanimously. <br /> Article 48. To see if the Town will approve a full time <br /> clerk for the offices of the Tax Collector and Treasurer, to <br /> .work five (5) days weekly, at a salary of $3,200.00 yearly. <br />
