103 Article 54. To see what is the consensus of this Town Meeting in regard to the filing of a bill in the Legislature to retain the Mashpee Advisory Commission. Action: Motion made and seconded to show (by vote) that we wish to retain Mashpee Advisory Commission. Voted 35 for, 53 opposed. Article 55. To see if the Town will vote to amend Arti- cle IX, Town Contracts, of the By-Laws to read: "Section 2, All capital expenditures purchases (i.e. desks, chairs, type- writers, cabinets, etc.) of $50.00 or more will be submitted to the Boaxd of Selectmen for approval before the purchase is consumated," or take !any other action thereon. Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as read. Voted unanimously. Article 56. To see whether the Town will vote to amend the Town By-Laws by adding to Chapter II, Article 2, the following: Section 2. Beginning in the year 1969, the office of the Treasurer and Tax Collector shall run for coterminous terms, and the term of the treasurer elected in 1969 shall end in 1971. Thereafter,the term of the offices of the Tax Collector and Treasurer, shall be for three years. Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as read. Voted unanimously. Article 57. To see if the Town will vote to amend Chap- ter III, Section 3 of the By-Laws of the Town of Mashpee by deleting said Section 3 and inserting in its place the following: Trailers may be parked throughout the Town subject to the following regulations.
