i 126 SPECIAL TOWN MEETING — TOWN OF MASHPEE MAY 13, 1968 BARNSTABLE, SS: To the Constable of the Town of Mashpee GREETINGS: In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify and summons the inhabitants of the Town of Mashpee, who are qualified to vote in the elections, to meet at the Town Hall on Monday, May 13, 1968 at 7:30 o'clock p.m. to act on the articles contained in the following warrant: i The meeting was opened at 7:45 o'clock p.m. May 13, 1968, by Moderator William W. Mills. A quorum was present 80 r voters. A prayer was delivered by Reverend Bravell Dodd. Tellers were Mrs. Barbara Peters and Miss Eleanor Peters. d Article 1. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate the sum of $15,000.00 to cover bills incurred under the Medical Assistance program prior to July 1, 1968 when the Commonwealth will become responsible for all bills. Submit- ted by the Board of Public Welfare. Finance Committee recommends to take from available funds. Action: Motion made 'and seconded that Article 1 to read to take from available funds. A unanimous vote. i; Article 2. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate the sum of $500.00 for the General Relief Account to cover bills incurred up to July 1, 1968, or take any other action thereon. Submitted by the Board of Public Welfare. Finance Committee recommends to take from available funds. Action: Motion made and seconded to take from avail- able funds. A unanimous vote. Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate the sum of $1,618.77 to take care of three overdrawn appropriation accounts as follows: Group Insurance 1966 y Interest on Debt 1966 $751.79 Police Expense 1967 342.00 T 484.98 $1,618.77 s
