96 <br /> Section 2. When an officer or member of any Board, <br /> paid or unpaid, is called upon to go to any point outside <br /> of the Town of Mashpee on official business connected <br /> with the duties of his office, he shall be entitled to receive <br /> pay on the following basis: <br /> If he travels by rail, water, bus, plane or any public <br /> !, transportation, he shall be allowed the amount of his <br /> fare. If he travels by private motor vehicle he shall be <br /> allowed the rate of 10 cents per mile of travel. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Action: Motion made and seconded article be accepted <br /> as read. So voted. <br /> it <br /> Article 48. To see if the Town will vote to accept Chap- <br /> ter 85, Section 11A of the Massachusetts General Laws and <br /> add to the Town By-Laws; No resident shall operate a bicycle <br /> 1 within the limits of the Town of Mashpee unless such bicycle !. <br /> I' <br /> is registered in the Town and unless the registration plate <br /> issued therefor is attached to the rear of such bicycle. The <br /> Police Department shall register all bicycles owned by per <br /> I <br /> sons residing within the Town, issue certificates of registra- <br /> tion and record the name, address, age of the owner, make <br /> and serial number of the bicycle and registration number <br /> issued. <br /> el <br /> ! To see if the Town will vote to amend Article <br /> VII, Regulations Relative To Good Order, of the By-Laws, <br /> Second sentence to read, * in no event will an unregistered, <br /> unsightly car or truck be stored on premises * within view of <br /> a way to which the public has access. Violators shall be fined <br /> in an amount not exceeding fifty dollars for each offense. <br /> Submitted by the Police Department. <br /> *Amended to read -after asterik—omitting in no event <br /> !I will—and adding—no unregistered etc. and second amend- <br /> ment—in a Residential or Agricultural District. <br /> Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as <br /> amended. 37 for, 20 opposed. <br />
