The Department this year added an Investigator to assist <br /> the Director because of the increase in case work and investi- <br /> gations., Mr. Sidney L. Chase was so appointed. He has made <br /> 270 house investigations and 65 Nursing Home visits. Besides <br /> doing the investigation work, Mr. Chase interviews most of <br /> "the returning veterans of the Vietnam era, and transports, <br /> on emergency only, some veterans to V.A. Hospitals. <br /> I would like to state that all of the returning Vietnam <br /> veterans are taking full advantage of the G.I. Bill, and that <br /> I; is a good sign for the future. <br /> is <br /> The unsung persons in an office such as mine are the <br /> clerks; Mrs. Josephine Angell, Principal Clerk, and Mrs. <br /> Muriel Erat, Medical Clerk.
