68 The polls opened at 12 o'clock noon and were closed at 8:00 P.M. Article 1. To choose all necessary town officials who are not elected under the Australian Ballot System: Burial Agent Leigh Potter Herring Warden Warren Hicks Harbor Master Gordon Crowell Finance Committee Members—two for three years: Ralph Rockwell, John Peters 1 i ' Article 2. To see if the Town will vote to accept the ' Town Officers' Reports or take any other action thereon. Action: Motion made and seconded that article be ac- cepted as presented with special thanks to Mrs. Grace Hou- ston for having Town Reports ready early. Article 3. To see if the Town will hear and act upon the reports of any Committee for any purpose the Town may deem advisable. Action: No reports to hear or act upon. Article 4. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Town Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to bor- row money from time to time in anticipation of the revenue j for the financial year beginning January 1, 1971 to January ! l_ 1, 1972 in, accordance with the provisions of General Laws, Chapter 44, Section 17. I, Action: Motion made and seconded article be amended to read: To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Town Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of the revenue for y the financial year beginning January 1, 1971, to January 1, 1972, in accordance with the provisions of General Laws, Chapter 44, Section 17 and to see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $4,000.00 to pay interest on any borrowings in .anticipation of taxes. Motion made and seconded article be accepted as amended. A unanimous vote. Article 5. To see if the Town will vote to fix the salaries of the following elected officers as provided in Section 108, Chapter 41 of the General Laws, retroactive to January 1, 1971. a', �
