To see if the Town will vote to accept Chap- <br /> ter 41 of the General Laws, Section 108L, to establish a career <br /> incentive pay program offering base salary increases to regu- <br /> lar police officers as a reward for furthering their education <br /> 1 j in the field of police work. If approved, police career incen- <br /> tive base salary shall be predicated on the accumulation of <br /> Points earned in the following manner: 1 point for each <br /> semester credit earned toward a baccalaureate degree; 60 <br /> points for an associate degree; 120 points for a baccalaureate <br /> degree; 150 points for a degree of master or for a degree in <br /> law. All credits and degrees shall be earned in an educational <br /> institution accredited by the New England Association of <br />
