<br /> assured of reimbursement (by instrument of Qualification
<br /> and Approval) from the Federal Government (Federal Land
<br /> and Water Conservation Fund) to the extent of approximate-
<br /> ly 50 per cent of the purchase price thereof and of reimburse-
<br /> ment (by Preliminary Approval) from the Commonwealth of
<br /> Massachusetts, SELF HELP FUND of approximately 25 per
<br /> cent of the purchase price thereof and on further condition
<br /> that the Town of Mashpee grant access to the general public
<br /> through land to be acquired hereunder, or take any other
<br /> action thereon.
<br /> Action: Motion made and seconded article be tabled. A
<br /> unanimous vote.
<br /> Article 45. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the
<br /> Selectmen to enter into a contract with the Bureau of Out-
<br /> door Recreation of the Department of the Interior of the,
<br /> United States Government with the respect to reimbursement
<br /> from the Land and Water Conservation Fund under Public
<br /> Law 88,897 (78 st 897) in connection with the purchase for
<br /> conservation purposes of land in Mashpee, owned by a Bonny
<br /> McCarthy.
<br /> Action: Motion made and seconded article be tabled. A
<br /> unanimous vote.

<br /> Article 46. To see if the Town will vote to accept the
<br /> following by-law establishing an historic district under the
<br /> provisions of Chapter 40C, General Laws:
