119 <br /> Report of the <br /> Falmouth Nursing Association, Inc. <br /> The Falmouth Nursing Association, Inc. has been pro- <br /> viding the residents of the TownofMashpee Maternal and <br /> Child Health Services, Immunization Clinics, and Com- <br /> municable Disease Control through qualified pubilc health <br /> staff under a contractual arrangement with the Board of <br /> Health. <br /> In the year 1974 the citizens have received the following <br /> services: <br /> Maternal & Child Health Service <br /> Postpartum and newborn visits-89 <br /> Expectant Parents Classes <br /> 39 classes <br /> Classes are given in cooperation with the Falmouth <br /> Hospital personnel and average 30 couples per session. <br /> Pre-School Health Supervision Visits-210 <br /> Immunization Clinic <br /> Attendance-149 <br /> The importance of immunization for crippling diseases <br /> cannot be stressed enough. Clinics are open to every- <br /> one. <br /> Diphtheria, Pertussis and Tetanus 26 <br /> D.P.T. Boosters 29 <br /> Trivalent Polio 30 <br /> Trivalent Polio Boosters 32 <br /> Measles 9 <br /> German Measles 5 <br /> Measles/German Measles 14. <br /> Mumps 24 <br /> Tuberculin Tine Tests 60 <br /> Communicable Disease Control <br /> An outbreak of hepatitis at a camp in Mashpee neces- <br /> sitated vaccinating 41 individuals. <br /> Additional time was spent in other follow, up communis <br /> icable disease activities. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> NORMAN.
