138
The Commission is forever seeking to help gain the
knowledge of the duties to a "Bicentennial.Community" so
therefore, have had advise from different levels of the state
and county government.
There are many projects planned by the Commission dur-
ing the year of 1975 and 1976. Some are planned under pro-
posed matching grants and some are planned so that the
community should become involved. The Commission will be
asking help of organizations within our Town. Please respond,
it will help to have a happier and healthier community.
The two main projects that were voted at the Special
Town Meeting of January 29, 1975 hopefully will be in pro-
posal form and into the State Bicentennial Commission
before the deadline of April 1, 1975 for matching grants.
From time to time, as the interest grows, so does the
I Commission's membership. Let us look forward to rewarding
accomplishments from now through 1976.
Respectfully submitted,
HAZEL A.
