Mashpee is now one of twelve Southeastern Massachu- setts School Systems working together to develop the concept of Individually Guided Education (I.G.E.), and the re-struc- turing of its elementary school into a multi-unit, non-graded facility. Under the able leadership of Principal Kenneth C. Coombs, and in cooperation with the IGE Area League Direc- tor, Dr. John A. Stefani, the successful completion of this de- liberately gradual transition is assured. When it is com- pleted, Mashpee will have one of the most advanced elemen- tary schools on Cape Cod.
