To see if the Town will vote to add to the Town <br /> By-Laws, "Whoever remains in a road or street or elsewhere in <br /> the Town of Mashpee and accosts or addresses another person <br /> with profane or obscene language maybe arrested by a police <br /> officer without a warrant if performed in the officers s pre- <br /> sence and if unknown to such officer kept in custody until <br /> he can be taken before the court having jurisdiction. Any <br /> person violating this by-law shall be punished in an amount <br /> not exceeding $50.00 for each offense." <br /> ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 18 be accepted <br /> as read.
