The warrants for signature tonight are for the month of May 2020 and total as follows:
$10,9491.12 for the TD account(which includes $30,000 transfer to Rockland account) and
34,228.65 for the Rockland Account 78,491.04 for 4001, $52,112.00 for MRVP, $61,889.68 for
Asher's Path Apartments, $ 11,647.33 for HAP, and $15,488.85 for Great Cove Community.
Bank accounts are almost fully transitioned. Vendor web system forms we submitted were
missing some information, so we need to finish that tonight. It requires a hard copy of the board
approving the changes. Mrs. Botsford and Ms. Allen can complete the forms when the meeting
is over.
Mrs. Botsford reported that, with the exception of the a few public housing tenants, we have no
rent delinquencies at any of our other developments. The vacancy at Breezy Acres has been
filled. We now have one vacancy at Homeyer Village. We are 100% occupied at Asher's Path
and Great Cove Community.
A motion was made by Lisa Meizinger and seconded by Kevin Shackett to accept the
Treasurer's Report as presented. The motion carried unanimously.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT & UPDATES:
• Mrs. Botsford reported things have been pretty busy but going well at all of our offices.
Things are pretty much status quo as last month with COVID-19 operations and
procedures.
• Mrs. Botsford reported that she did Annual evaluations for all employees except the 2
newest. They get evaluated after their probationary period is up.
• Mrs. Botsford stated that she received a nice call from the Director of Public Housing at
DHCD, Laura Taylor, wishing her well in her retirement and offering any assistance that
the board may need in the transition. Mrs. Botsford informed her that she would be
staying on as a consultant as long as the MHA needed her, and she was very pleased
about that.
OLD BUSINESS:
a) Executive Director Search: Mrs. Botsford stated that she has two packets for the two
members of the search committee which contain the five resumes received so far, the
timeline for hiring, the advertisement, and the job description. Ms. Allen and Ms.
Meizinger set aside 5:00 PM on June 22 to review the applications received, pick those
they wish to interview, and come up with some questions to ask interviewees.
NEW BUSINESS: none
OTHER BUSINESS: Miss Allen asked if we have heard anything from Terrapin Ridge. Mrs.
Botsford stated that we have not.
CORRESPONDENCE/COMMUNICATIONS: none that hasn't already been mentioned.
