To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br /> appropriate the sum of $1,100.00 for administrative expendi- <br /> tures for the Aid to Dependent Children, Old Age Assistance, <br /> l Disability Assistance and Welfare Department or take any <br /> i other action thereon. <br /> Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded it was <br /> voted to accept the article as read. <br /> Unanimous vote. <br /> Article 27. To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br /> appropriate a sufficient sum of money for the purpose of a <br /> portable generator for the Civil Defense Department or take <br /> any other action thereon. <br /> Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded it was <br /> voted to accept the article, to read to transfer from un- <br /> appropriated available funds the sum of $800.00 for the pur- <br /> chase of a portable generator. <br /> Unanimous vote. <br /> 1 Article 28. To see if the Town will vote to accept and <br /> approve the appointment of a full time police officer who will <br /> be chief of the Police Department or take any other action <br /> r thereon. <br /> Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded it was <br /> voted to accept the article as read. <br /> Vote: 105 for — one opposed. <br /> Article 29. To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br /> i appropriate the sum of $3,200.00 as the yearly salary of a <br /> full time chief of the Police Department or take any other <br /> action thereon. <br /> s Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded it was <br /> voted to accept the article as read. <br /> Vote: 88 for — one opposed. <br />
