These were financed by the Barn-
stable County Health Department. The purpose of such con-
ferences is the early detection of minor deviations from
10 normal so that they may be corrected before they become
E9 serious. We hope to increase the number of conferences
0 next year in order that more children may have the oppor-
tunity to be checked at regular intervals. The mothers appre-
6 ciate this opportunity and we were sorry we were not able
to accomodate all who wished to attend.
,4 Attendance at the Salk Polio vaccine clinic, conducted
by Dr. Fred L. Moore, was excellent. The mothers are to be
complimented on their interest in the program. Practically
)8 all pre-school youngsters have been immunized against
14 whooping-cough, tetanus and diphtheria and vaccinated
against smallpox.
