61 Article 5. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Town Treasurer,with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of revenue of the financial year beginning on January 1, 1956 and to issue a note or notes therefore payable in one year and to renew such note or notes that may be given for a period of one year or less. Action: Voted 74 for, none opposed. Article 6. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Town Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to ex- tend for a period or periods, not exceeding in the aggregate six months beyond the maximum term provided by law any debt or debts incurred under this vote. Action: Voted 67 for, none opposed. Article 7. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Town Treasurer, with the approval of the Mashpee Advisory Commission, to assign any Tax Titles held by the Town. Action: Voted 64 for, none opposed. Article 8. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate the sum of $2,600.00 to meet the Town's share of the cost of Chapter 81 Highways and in addition to transfer from unappropriated available funds in the treasury the sum of$7,150.00 to meet the State's share of the cost of the work, this amount when reimbursed to be returned to surplus rev- enue or take any other action thereon. Action: Voted 67 for, none opposed. Article 9. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate the sum of $3,000.00 in conjunction with Highway Construction under Chapter 90 representing the Town's share and to transfer from available funds in the treasury the sum Of $9,000.00 representing the State and County share, this amount when reimbursed to be returned to surplus revenue or take any other action thereon. Action: Voted 68 for, none opposed.
