67 Article 28. To see if the Town will vote to request the Board of Health to appoint a committee of three (3) members to locate a new area for the town dump and present their recommendation to the Board, or take any other action thereon. Action: It was amended to read, "that the Selectmen reserve the right to accept volunteers at a later date". Article 29. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate the sum of $816.00 for the installation of thirty- four (34) new street lights; ten (10) to be installed in the Popponessett area; five (5) on Monompscoy Road; two (2) on Great Neck Road; four (4) in the John's Pond area; one (1) on Sandwich-Cotuit Road; one (1) on South Sandwich Road; four (4) on Route 130 and seven (7) on Route 28, or take any other action thereon. Action: 87 for, 1 opposed. Article 30. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate the sum of $75.00 for the purchase of a granite plaque with wording "Old Indian Cemetery" and dates, to be set in appropriate location in the Old Indian Cemetery, or take any other action thereon. Action: Voted—Unanimous. Article 31. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate a sum of money for the support of school and State 1 aided Vocational Education, or take any other action thereon. Action: 87 for, 1 opposed. Article 32. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate from available funds, the sum of $250.00 to record the Town Plan,dated 1877,or take any other action thereon. Action: Voted—Unanimous, Article 33. To see if the Town will vote to instruct the Board of Selectmen to petition in behalf of the town, the State Tax Commission for the installation of an assessment system in accordance with the provisions of Section 7A of Chapter , 56 of the General Laws, or take any other action thereto. Action: Voted—Unanimously to table Article 33.` I.
