A computer repair program was implemented as <br /> part of our electronics program and we have continued <br /> to upgrade technology in the school with computers, <br /> training and staff. Our facility has been renovated at <br /> minimum expense to the district by doing some of the <br /> work ourselves. Shops were enlarged and our welding <br /> program was moved. Our Dental Assistant Program <br /> graduated its first class and all the graduates were <br /> placed in jobs in their field. <br /> As is our usual practice, we utilized the facility to <br /> full capacity this summer by providing academic <br /> makeup and enrichment classes for high school and <br /> middle school students in the Lower Cape Creative <br /> Enrichment Program in conjunction with Chatham, <br /> Nauset and Harwich. Additionally, there were approx- <br /> imately 90 students in the Job Training and <br /> Employment Corporation Program; 50 students from <br /> grades 5, 6 and 7 in the Summer Exploratory Program <br /> vocational venture; and 12 students in the Work <br /> Experience Program. We also had a Life Skills <br /> Program, an Adult Evening Program, a Soccer Camp <br /> and the Annual Quilt Show. <br /> Community Education and Training Programs <br /> developed and managed funds derived from grants, <br /> tuition, and fees, which were expended in services, <br /> equipment and resources for the students of Cape Cod <br /> Tech and the youth and adult members of our sending <br /> 145 <br />
