<br /> In May, 2013, the Council on Aging recognized €

<br /> the Senior Property Tax Work-off Program. The
<br /> Town Clerk records indicated that there were program matches town government needs with senior
<br /> 1,536 seniors in Mashpee in December of 1990 and skills, talents and abilities in a program that allows
<br /> 3,050 seniors as of the Year 2000 census. A check with seniors to receive a property tax credit of$600.00 for
<br /> the Town Clerk in November of 2013 showed a tally of their efforts. Thirty Mashpee seniors participated in
<br /> approximately 4,400 seniors,an increase of forty three the town's program, volunteering in a variety of town
<br /> percent since the 2000 census. departments, giving their time and considerable skills
<br /> toward improving town government operations.
<br /> In 2013, the Friends of Mashpee Council on
