The Mashpee Shellfish Dept. and AmeriCorps Propagation Program: 3,600,000 quahog seed via <br /> member Sarah Herzig in collaboration with Dr. DMF/Barnstable County <br /> Hement Chikarmane, professor of natural sciences at 1,000,000 bay scallop seed <br /> Cape Cod Community College, started a new project purchased <br /> using DNA analysis to characterize different strains of <br /> the fecal coliform bacteria(E. coli)found in our water Shellfish Permits Issued: 710 <br /> samples.
