Town of Mashpee Article 2 <br /> Annual Town Meeting To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and trans- <br /> October 20, 2003 fer from available funds $1.1 million to offset the <br /> FY2004 budget shortfall. <br /> Meeting called to order at 7:37 p.m. Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> 210 Voters present <br /> Quorum 0 Explanation: These funds are needed to cover the <br /> Barnstable, ss: decrease in state aid issued to the town. <br /> i'. <br /> Greetings to the Constables of the Town, Recommendation: Finance Committee recommends <br /> approval. <br /> in the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Motion be made by George Green. <br /> you are hereby directed to notify and summon the <br /> inhabitants of the Town of Mashpee who are qualified Motion: I move the Town vote to appropriate and <br /> to vote in the elections to meet at the Quashnet School <br /> on Monday,the twentieth day of October,2003 at 7:30 transfer $229,000 from the Stabilization Trust <br /> p.m.for the following purposes: Account; appropriate and transfer $150,000 from the <br /> Overlay Surplus Account; and appropriate and transfer <br /> To act on the articles contained in the following $350,000 from Revenue Available for Appropriation <br /> Warrant. for a total of$729,000 to be transferred to line item 55 <br /> of the FY2004 Omnibus Budget as voted at the May 5, <br /> Article 1 2003 Annual Town Meeting. <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and trans- <br /> ferfiscal previous from available funds $4,412 to pay p Article 3 <br /> year unpaid bills as follows: <br /> Ackland Sports Medicine LLC 65.00 To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and trans- <br /> Falmouth Hospital 200.00 <br /> fer $250 from the Cemetery Expense Account to the <br /> Cemetery Salary and Wages Account, or take any <br /> Cape Cod Rehab 3797.00 <br /> other action relating thereto. <br /> Mashpee Chiropractic 150.00 <br /> Third Party Solutions 100.26 <br /> Personal Care Center 99.74 Submitted by the Cemetery Commission <br /> or take any other action relating thereto. Explanation: This article is necessary to pay for <br /> employee wages associated with the opening of the <br /> Submitted by the Town Accountant columbarium located at the Great Neck Woods <br /> Cemetery after normal business hours.
