Article 17 Explanation: To date, the Massachusetts Estuaries <br /> Project has established critical nitrogen loading targets <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer for Popponesset Bay and its subembayments, as well <br /> from the Land Bank Appraisal/ Legal Account to the as the Quashnet/Moonakis River, Hamblin Pond and <br /> Community Preservation Act Administrative Purchase Jehu Pond subembayments of Waquoit Bay. Targets <br /> of Services Account the sum of$26,090 for the purpose have not been set for Waquoit Bay proper or the Cbrlds <br /> of administrative and operating expenses of the River watershed. In addition, the targets set for the <br /> Community Preservation Committee, said sums to be Quashnet etc. subembayments are dependent on nitro. <br /> spent in accordance with the provisions of G.L. c.44B gen levels in Waquoit Bay proper. The Town of <br /> upon recommendation of the Community Preservation Falmouth has requested and received a proposal from <br /> Committee,or take any other action relating thereto. the Massachusetts Estuaries Project for completion of <br /> Ia report regarding critical nitrogen loading thresholds <br /> Submitted by the Community Preservation Act for Waquoit Bay (central basin), Childs River and Eel <br /> ! Committee Pond(the latter is in Falmouth). As Mashpee will ben- <br /> efit from the information generated by the report,and <br /> Explanation: This article will transfer funding that as we share Waquoit Bay and the Childs River,they <br /> was set aside in the Land Bank Legal Account in to the have requested that the Town of Mashpee contribute a <br /> Community Preservation Act Administrative Services portion of the $94,500 local funding match required <br /> Account to cover secretarial support and other related for completion of the report.
