Goals for 2009 Three Year Plan and Outlook: <br /> Perform all GIS edits in-house • Create metadata for all GIS data maintained by <br /> the Town of Mashpee <br /> • Expand installation of Remote Access where <br /> appropriate • Use GIS to map all municipal assets for use in <br /> federal reporting requirements (GASB) <br /> • Continue pre-plan data entry for Remote <br /> Access, including Photos, video, scanned • Continue to expand use of GIS in several <br /> drawings and local knowledge departments including: Fire, Police, <br /> Conservation, Building, Health, DPW, <br /> • Complete migration of GIS website to Town Planning, Shellfish and Harbor Master <br /> server and maintain the site internally <br /> • Expand functionality of Remote Access by <br /> • Migrate all GIS users to ArcMap 9.3 activating use of remote security camera feed <br /> for commercial and remote municipal loca- L <br /> • Continue consolidating existing and new GIS tions in Town <br /> data to centralized GIS server and finalizing <br /> appropriate data distribution. Activity levels <br /> I li! on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays were very high, with <br /> Mondays though Thursdays slower than normal, as <br /> one person put it looks like we all working for the <br /> weekends. The number of bass fishing tournaments <br /> on our fresh water lake and ponds remained the same. <br /> Spring and summer weather was I think one of the bet- <br /> ter years with many sunny days with light winds. The <br /> number of aids to navigation the department manages <br /> still number in the nineties. Dredging of the outside <br /> channel to Popponesset bay was completed late <br /> December to yearly January.
