Collection of Sum for Upkeep by Town. The Animal Control <br /> Officer having custody of a dog confined under this chapter shall charge a <br /> daily fee to be determined by the Board of Selectmen for each day of <br /> confinement for the care of such dog, payable by the owner or keeper <br /> thereof. Any sums so collected shall be paid over to the Treasurer or the <br /> Town pursuant to M.G.L.
