<br />    		authorize the Board of Selectmen to enter into agreements and execute any and all instruments as
<br />    		may be necessary on behalf of the Town to effectuate said acquisition, or take any other action
<br />    		relating thereto.

<br />    		Explanation:   This article would authorize the Board of Selectmen to purchase, using Land
<br />    		Bank funds, a building lot located on Santuit Pond.   The lot is located on Timberlane Drive
<br />    		between Town conservation land and a parcel recently taken by the Town for unpaid taxes.

<br />    		Motion:  I move the Town vote to authorize the Selectmen to acquire, by purchase or otherwise,
<br />    		for open  space purposes allowed by Chapter 293  of the Acts of 1998, that parcel of land
<br />    		identified on the FY2000 Mashpee Assessors' Maps as Map 22, Block 22, consisting of 20,000
<br />    		square feet, more or less, located between Timberlane Drive and Santuit Pond; and further that
<br />    		the Town vote to appropriate and transfer from the Land Bank Fund established by the Town
<br />    		under the provisions of Chapter 293 of the Acts of 1998 (An Act Relative to the Establishment of

<br />    		Map 30, Blocks 52, 53, 84, 85, 87, 88, 91, 94, 97, 104, 105, 107, 108, 111, 138, 139 and 140 and
<br />    		the land contained in the layouts of the "paper" streets known as Wimbledon Way and Racquet
<br />    		Drive, Map 31, Block 1, Map 37, Block 55 and Map 3 8, Blocks 5, 6, 7, 9, 10 and 11, to be held
<br />    		in the care and custody of the Conservation Commission pursuant to Massachusetts General
