plan entitled, "Proposed Boys & Girls Club Expansion", dated September 8, 2008, a copy of <br /> which is on file in the office of the Town Clerk, and to authorize the Selectmen to execute a deed <br /> or a lease therefore on such terms as they shall deem proper, and further, to authorize the <br /> Selectmen to petition the General Court, as may be necessary, for special legislation authorizing <br /> such sale or lease, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanatiom This article will authorize the lease of additional land to the Boys & Girls Club <br /> for expansion of the Boys & Girls Club building located at the municipal complex off Route 151. <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommends approval by a vote of 54, <br /> The Finance Committee recommends approval by a vote of 64. <br /> Motion made by Selectman on Myers. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to transfer the care, custody, management and control of the <br /> following described parcel of Town owned land to the Board of Selectmen for the purpose of <br /> sale or lease in conjunction with use of the abutting Boys & Girls Club of Cape Cod, Inc. parcel: <br /> a portion of land shown on, Assessors' Map 67 as Block I and more particularly described on a <br /> plan entitled, "Proposed Boys & Girls Club Expansion", dated September 8, 2008, a copy of <br /> which is on file in the office of the Town Clerk, and to authorize the Selectmen to execute a deed <br /> or a lease therefore on such terms as they shall deem proper, and further, to authorize the <br /> Selectmen to petition the General Court, as may be necessary, for special legislation authorizing <br /> such sale or lease. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7o.56PMI, <br /> October Town Meeting Warrant <br />
