Motion: I move Article 39 be voted as printed in the warrant with the exception of the phrase, <br /> "or take any other action relating thereto". <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:56 pm. <br /> Article 40 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to accept the layouts as public ways of Swain Circle, Drew Lane, <br /> Butler Lane, Hanson Drive, Sewall Drive and Carlton Drive as shown on a set of eight plans for <br /> Asher's Heights Subdivision prepared by Yankee Survey Consultants entitled "Road Conversion <br /> Plan of Swain Circle, dated July 28, 1998"; "Road Conversion Plan of Drew Lane, dated July 28, <br /> 1998"; "Road Conversion Plan of Hanson Drive, dated July 28, 1998"; "Road Conversion Plan <br /> of Sewall Drive, dated July 28, 1998"; "Road Conversion Plan of Sewall Drive, dated July 28, <br /> 1998"; "Road Conversion Plan of Carlton Drive, dated July 28, 1998"'; "Road Conversion Plan <br /> of Carlton Drive, dated July 28, 1998"; "Road Conversion Plan of Butler Lane, dated July 28, <br /> 1998"; and to authorize the Board of Selectmen to acquire by gift, purchase or eminent domain, <br /> any land or easements necessary for the purposes of such ways as so laid out, upon such terms <br /> and conditions as it shall determine appropriate, for the purposes of a public way, or take any <br /> other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: This article accepts the public way layout for Swain Circle, Drew Lane, Butler <br /> Lane, Hanson Drive, Sewall Drive and Carlton Drive. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters. <br /> Motion: Trove Article 40 be voted as printed in the warrant with the exception of the phrase, <br /> "or take any other action relating thereto". <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:57 p.m. <br /> Article 41 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to authorize and empower the Board of Selectmen to prepare a plan <br /> laying out and defining Cranberry Ridge Road and to accomplish said purpose and for expenses <br /> incidental and related thereto, the Town vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available <br /> funds for appropriation a sum of money to the Cranberry Ridge Roadways Account and to raise <br /> said appropriation, the Treasurer with the approval of the Board of Selectmen be authorized to <br /> borrow at one time, or from time to time, a sum of money under and pursuant to Chapter 44, <br /> Section 7 or 8 or any other enabling authority and to issue bonds and notes of the Town <br /> therefore, and further, to see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from <br /> available funds a sum of money to the Cranberry Ridge Roadways Account to provide interest <br /> ,and debt issuance expenses, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by Petition <br />
