Explanation-, This article proposes to use funds received from the sale of plots at the cemeteries <br /> for operating expenses related to their maintenance. <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommends approval by a vote of 4-0. <br /> The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Wayne Taylor. <br /> Motion.- I move Article 7 be indefinitely postponed. <br /> Motion to indefinitely postponed passes unanimously at 9:10PM. <br /> Article 8 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to create two custodian positions under the Building & Grounds <br /> Division of the Department of Public Works, and for said purpose the Town vote to appropriate <br /> and transfer $81,367 from the Building & Grounds Expense Account to the Department of <br /> Public Works S,alary/Wage Account with said funds to be distributed as follows: $51,051.52 to <br /> the Department of Public Works Salary/Wage Account, $29,502 Medical Insurance Account, <br /> $72 Group Insurance Account and $741 to the Medicare Account, or take any other action <br /> relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by Department of Public Works <br /> Explanation: This action creates and funds two new positions for the newly created Building & <br /> Grounds Division under the Department of Public Works in order to perform custodial duties for <br /> Town buildings in-house rather than contracting with an outside company.
