§1-40 Violations and penalties-, Whoever violates any of the provisions of this Code, unless otherwise provided for therein, shall be punished by a fine of not less than twenty dollars ($20.) nor more than fifty dollars ($100.). The Spring Annual Town Meeting will be held the first Monday in May and will address the Annual Town operating budget. The Fall Annual Town Meeting will be held the third Monday in October and will address any and all other business to come before the Town Meeting. These meetings will be held at 7:30 p.m. at a place that shall. be deten-nined by the Selectmen. The Board of Selectmen shall receive all petitions addressed to it which request the submission of particular subject matter to the Town Meeting and which. conform to the requirements of section ten of chapter thirty-nine of the General Laws. All requests for the inclusion of subject matter shall be in writing, but shall not otherwise 'be required to conform to any particular style or form, except that each request for a particular subject shall be submitted as a separate petition. C. Articles for the Spring Annual Town Meeting must be submitted. by the second Monday in February each year.
