A motion to "move the <br /> question"requires a 2/3 vote for passage. <br /> I ; <br /> 11. Only two (2) amendments to a motion may be on the floor at any particular time. iR <br /> Amendments over six (6) words must be submitted to the Moderator in writing and, s <br /> of over fifty(50) words, sufficient copies must be available to those attending at the i <br /> entrance of the hall before the start of that particular session. „ <br /> 12. Generally, amendments shall be voted on in the order made and prior to the vote on <br /> the motion to be amended. However, amendments relating to amounts to be w' ' <br /> appropriated shall be voted on in a descending order until an amount gains approval. <br /> 13. Reconsideration of Votes. No vote shall be reconsidered at the same meeting at <br /> which it is acted upon unless public notice of the intention to move such I' j <br /> reconsideration is given within thirty(30)minutes of the declaration of the vote by <br /> the Moderator, and no notice of intent to move reconsideration on any vote shall be <br /> received by the Moderator more than two (2) times at the same meeting.
