29 <br />Report of the Board of Health <br />To the Citizens of the Town: <br />The beach at the "Head of the Pond" is in good condition, <br />also the Town dump, as far as Health conditions go. <br />Although the following is a 1954 project, I think it would <br />be well to know. Through the co-operation of the County <br />Health officials we were able to secure Mrs. Ruth E. Roberts, <br />R.N. of Bass River, who comes to us with a wealth of experi- <br />ence for nursing service. An office will be maintained in the <br />school for the present, her day will be Friday, her duties will <br />begin the 15th of January, 1954. A budget will be prepared by <br />Mrs. Roberts and submitted to the Selectmen to whom she <br />will be responsible and make a personal report quarterly. <br />As for publicity,Mrs.Roberts will seek the co-operation of <br />local physicians and a leaflet will be distributed through the <br />school. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />FERDINAND W.
