3 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> December 7, 2020 <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> Public Hearing: Private Sign on Town Property 126 South Sandwich Road Mashpee, MA for AJ's Screening. <br /> Adam Giangregorio: (continued) <br /> It was disclosed the applicant is required to obtain a license agreement through the Building Department to hold the <br /> Town harmless if there are liabilities or damage to the signage. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to approve the request of Adam J. Giangregorio, property owner of <br /> 126 South Sandwich Road and of AJ's Screening to erect a free-standing routed sign within the 40' <br /> layout of South Sandwich Road subject to obtaining the applicable license agreement between the Town of <br /> Mashpee and property owner. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Sherman,yes <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none <br /> Public Hearing: 2021 Annual Alcoholic Beverage and Entertainment License Renewals: <br /> Acting as the Licensing Authority for the Town of Mashpee,the Select Board opened the Public Hearing on the <br /> 2021 Annual Alcoholic Beverages and Entertainment License renewals in the Town of Mashpee. The Hearing <br /> notice was read aloud into the record in accordance with posting procedures. <br /> It was disclosed there are no violations. All licensed establishments have passed Building/Fire Inspections, with no <br /> reported violations from the Police, Fire Department and Board of Health. All licensed establishments are current <br /> on their property taxes and there are no reported violations with the ABCC. <br /> An establishment with the asterisk denotes a renewal of its license for Weekday Entertainment and/or <br /> Entertainment on Sundays. There are no alterations to the Entertainment Licenses as previously conditioned. <br /> In accordance with the Board of Selectmen's action on November 2, 2020 to institute a Ban on the Sale of Alcohol <br /> Nips (50 mil) (50 milliliter(ml) container) and on containers of up to 100 milliliters in size as a condition of any <br /> new, renewed and/or transferred license for establishments licensed pursuant to G.L. Ch. 13 8 §15 based on <br /> considerations of public health, welfare and safety. The Ban is applicable with the License Renewals for 2021 with <br /> an effective date of July 1, 2021. <br /> The conditions in effect will remain status quo. This includes outdoor seating for restaurants permitted by <br /> the Board of Selectmen which shall remain in effect until the Governor's State of Emergency has been lifted. <br /> Being no comment the Board motioned to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Sherman,yes <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none <br />
