APPROVAL OF MINUTES—March 3,2021 <br /> There were no comments regarding the minutes. <br /> MOTION: Mr. Callahan made a motion to approve the minutes. Mr. Balzarini seconded <br /> the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> No discussion or topics were offered by Mr. Phelan or the Board. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> No discussion or topics were offered by Mr. Phelan or the Board. <br /> CHAIRMAN'S REPORT <br /> No report <br /> TOWN PLANNER REPORT <br /> Mashpee Commons Development Agreement <br /> Mr. Lehrer reported that Mashpee Commons submitted their development agreement application <br /> to the Cape Cod Commission. The first step is to request the Board of Selectmen formally sign <br /> on to become a party to the agreement. The first stage will be an establishment of the process for <br /> negotiation and collaboration. Mr. Lehrer indicated that there will be many opportunities for <br /> participation. He said that this is the first three party development agreement that the Cape Cod <br /> Commission is undertaking with developer, commission and a municipality. At the Selectmen's <br /> meeting there will be discussion about what the process will look like for negotiation and <br /> collaboration. Mr. Phelan asked whether there would be a need for the Planning Board to be <br /> present at the Selectmen's meeting. Mr. Lehrer responded that he did not believe there would be <br /> anything of substance with regard to the actual development but that it would be a good idea to <br /> tune into the meeting. <br /> Consulting Engineer Update <br /> Mr. Lehrer stated that a formal offer letter was sent to Mr. Ed Pesce to which he accepted. Mr. <br /> Lehrer has sent a request to Town Counsel to draft an agreement for services. Once this <br /> agreement is executed the Town will have a new engineer. <br /> BOARD MEMBER COMMITTEE UPDATES <br /> Cape Cod Commission-No report <br /> Community Preservation Committee-Ms. Waygan reminded the Board that Community <br /> Preservation applications are due by April lst for consideration at the October town meeting. <br /> Applications can be obtained online or at the Town Manager's Office. <br /> Ms. Waygan had heard that there will be a vacancy on the Community Preservation Committee <br /> but she has not seen anything formally posted as of yet. <br /> 5 <br />
