Sherman recommended the Board continue round table discussions with applicable <br /> regulatory boards starting in November to review the next vision for the Town of Mashpee. <br /> Initial items of interest include the following topics; <br /> Wastewater; Ongoing process. Nutrients, Septic and Cesspools; Findings and Enforcement Strategies, <br /> PFAS and testing sites, <br /> Wetland Buffers. How to strategically deal with water quality issues on a broader vision. <br /> Mashpee Water District; Water Quality from a drinking water perspective, contamination from the base. <br /> Workforce Housing <br /> Design Plan Review—Business Frontages; Signage, Vegetation, etc. and enforcement thereof. <br /> The Mashpee Commons Expansion Project <br /> Specific items in terms of vision would be disseminated in advance to provide the framework for the <br /> monthly meeting schedule. <br /> ADDITIONAL TOPICS <br /> (This space is reserved for topics that the Chairman did not reasonably anticipate would be discussed) <br /> Route 151 Traffic Lights at the Middle/High School: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cotton to place the above referenced topic on the Selectmen's agenda. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Gottlieb. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Weeden, yes Selectman Gottlieb,yes <br /> Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes Opposed, none <br /> It was recommended the Board review and make adjustments to limit the impact of the traffic in the area of the <br /> Mashpee Middle/High School at the intersection of Route 151 during the school year. <br /> As discussion ensued it was noted that concern has been emphasized and would be addressed within the <br /> upcoming 151 Corridor Project. Road improvements from the Mashpee Rotary to Old Barnstable Road <br /> include the adjustment of the traffic lights and road layout to mitigate disruptions. <br />
