Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of general <br /> circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on June 12, 2020 and June 19, 2020 a copy of which <br /> is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the provisions of <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §6 and the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Public Hearings were held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall (virtual/remote) on <br /> Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at which time the following members of the.Board of Appeals <br /> were present and acting throughout;Chairman,Jonathan Furbush,Vice Chairman,William <br /> Blaisdell, Board Members, Scott Goldstein, Norman J. Gould, and Associate Member <br /> James Reiffarth. <br /> Attorney, Rob Mills represented the Petitioner Fausto Abreu who owns and operates <br /> Welcome Appliance in Hyannis, and he is applying for the proposed business called Cape <br /> Cod Appliance. The property owner Juan Marichal was also present. Attorney Mills said <br /> the proposal is for an appliance use in a portion of the property that was formerly Zachery's <br /> Pub. The area would be to the left side of the building and will consist of 3,000 sq. ft. The <br /> business is for the sale and display of pre-owned appliances such as refrigerators, freezers, <br /> washers, and dryers, and other household appliances. <br /> 1 <br />
