Furbush, Board Members William A. Blaisdell, Ron Bonvie, Scott <br /> Goldstein,Norman J. Gould,Associate Members Sharon Sangeleer George Ganzenmuller, <br /> and Charlie Reidy were present. Also present was Building Commissioner, David Morris. <br /> Chairman Furbush opened the meeting at 6:00 pm and announced that the hearings were <br /> being televised live on Mashpee TV as a virtual remote meeting. He will take comments <br /> after each hearing. He introduced Charlie Reidy as the newest Associate Member to the <br /> ZBA. Associate Member, James Reiffarth was absent. <br /> Mr. Furbush commented to the Board and audience that there are several continued <br /> hearings, and that these hearings need to be addressed in a more timely fashion. <br /> 14 Wa2s Road: Petitioners, Aspen Blue, LLC request a Modification to a Special Permit <br /> (SP-24-26) under §174-25 (E) (16) and §174-24 (K) of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for a <br /> change of use and modifications of an existing building from a boat storage facility to a <br /> marijuana cultivation and manufacturing establishment on property located in an 1-1, C-1, <br /> and R3 Zoning District(s), Map 81 Parcel 6, Mashpee, MA. (Owner of Record: Andrew <br /> Conway, Trustee of Dry Harbor Realty Trust). <br /> Attorney Mark Boudreau represented Aspen Blue that was before the Board back in <br /> December, and there were a number of items that needed to be addressed. There have been <br /> several updates to the plan. The Attorney went through the items that were referenced in a <br /> letter to the Board dated January 21, 2021, The first item on the list was the security plan, <br /> and that the proposed facility will be completely fenced in with a locked gate at the <br /> entrance.There is no other entrance to this facility. The property will be monitored twenty- <br /> four hours a day, seven days a week with remote cameras and an alarm system. The second <br /> item was the fire protection plan,the third item was the odor mitigation plan. They will be <br /> ready to file permits with the Board of Health. They received approval confirmation from <br /> the Fire Department, Police Department, and Town Planner. <br /> Mr. Furbush read the Town Planner's comment dated February 17, 2021 into the record. <br /> Sharon read Fire Chief's comments dated February 23,2021 into the record, and the Board <br /> of Health comments dated February 24, 2021 into the record. She also read the Chief of <br /> Police comment dated February 17, 2021 into the record. <br /> There were no more comments from the Board or audience. <br /> 1 <br />
