Judy asked if the DEQE is issuing sewage treatment permits
for single family housing development?
Mr. Kirrane replied that they are not but this would be
single family condominium development.
Tony said he has no problem with a reasonable continuation
to ensure a better project than original cranberry Hollow
a project. He would like to follow the time frame from DEQE
for a continuation (early fall) rather than the end of the
year. For now the Board will continue this issue until the
next scheduled meeting to hopefully meet with principals.
Mr. Kirrane stated that there is a provision in the town by
law that delineates that the special permit lives while
- seeking other permits (Board obligated to grant extension) .
The Board scheduled a discussion on Cranberry Hollow for
April 19th and asked Mr. Kirrane to request the principals
,r to appear.
Definitive Plan
Applicant: Earl H. Mills, Sr.
Location: Rte. 130 opposite Cotuit Road
Request: continuation of Public Hearing to review the
Definitive Plan for a 10--lot subdivision.
Judy Mills and Richardson Jonas stepped down.
Robert Mills and Mike McGrath were present.
Mike McGrath reviewed the re--design plans of the
intersection with the Board. He explained that it was
designed so traffic will come onto Rte 130 at a 90 degree
intersection. Mr. virgillio asked Mr. McGrath to design the
Plan and he will seek town funds to reconstruct the
intersection.
Tony stated that since this involves a taking it must go to
selectman and at that time can ask them to close off road
(easement which is being used) , since there is another
access .
The Board does not have problems with this plan, it
,4 represents Mr. virgillio' s concerns after reviewing the
yk intersection at an on site meeting.
=' They presented to the Board a letter from Horsely, Witten
Hegemann commenting on the nitrate nitrogen concentrates and
how they can be reduced. Lee and Tom had reviewed the
revised report. 2% of the anticipated future loading will
come from this subdivision (although future loading needs to
be reduced) . At present they are under the limit, does it
then become a question of first come first serve. Mike
= McGrath suggested that the town must change the zoning in
the area or allocate funds for treatment.
-- 7 --
