Paul Kelly, 73 Shorewood Drive. The houses on Shorewood is the only place this project abuts <br /> any hack yard. The Board has been talking about landscaping to provide privacy amongst the <br /> its in Southport but nothing for these homes that abut the project! They want a fence, not <br /> bushes, not a chain link fence, something that will provide privacy. There are only 5 houses <br /> abutting this project but it is within 100 feet of them. They want it addressed and followed up on <br /> more seriously. <br /> Bev said it will be loomed at again by the Board in 2 weeks. <br /> Mr. Kelly asked if they will be notified again? <br /> They will not get a notice. Continuation of this hearing will be announced at the end of the <br /> caring. <br /> Mr. Kelly said they only learned of these unit units in Dec after living her for 13 gears. 'Tom <br /> Fudala said they have been permitted since 1974. <br /> Mal Malcom on, 48 Pine 1 Blvd said he and 3 other owners reviewed the engineering <br /> information for the retaining walls and have questions,which they supplied to the Board and <br /> were submitted to the developer. They are requesting a response. <br /> They are relying very much on the town engineer and staff to perform analysis and ensure its <br /> safety before any construction happens above it. Are hoping this information can speed up the <br /> process. <br /> l Ditritis,member of the ad hoc conunittee and was asked to loop at the Pond issue.I Ie.is <br /> asking the Board and Charlie Rowley to pay particular attention to attachment F. <br /> Lawrence Sherhold,EXecutive Drive,member of ad hoc conum'ttee. Had a meeting in the <br /> -community-re; sidewalks: They do not care ghat was on-the original plans, are concerned about <br /> the future. Agreement that sidewalks on both sides of any.road is not necessary. There is no <br /> position yet on material to be used. <br /> Katherine Walter, 12 Bonw od Dr. had a list of comments, concerns about the landscape plan, <br /> copy of which was given to Mr. Bonvie and the town planner. Concerns about landscaping at <br /> utility boxes, parking pads for Bonwood are not shown on the plan, wants sidewalks but not on <br /> her side of the street. <br /> Gail Barnes, member of act hoc committee looped at the clear cutting issue. Responsible parties <br /> have agreed on how to proceed so this does not happen again. They want to thank the Board for <br /> working to sage as many trees as possible. <br /> Linda Fletcher, 28 windward St. obviously,no building pemiats will be issued tonight. She is <br /> asking the Board to please, wherever possible,in areas that are less sensitive, address issuing _ <br /> building penits in those area. It is of great concern. She thanked the Board for their work and <br /> for the residents for coning out to the meeting. <br /> Beverly also commended the residents for taking an interest in their community. <br /> Board Comments Questions <br /> Don said the Board must lock at.the retaining wall issue and expedite that process; apply <br /> technical resources and get a sense of safety we are all concerned about, is it safe to have those <br /> units inclose proximity t that gall? The Board should use a resources t expedite that <br /> 7 <br />
